It is the job we are asked for most and the one we have measured best. We take out the bath and the rubble, check the condition of the waste and the plumbing, waterproof the tray area and fit the tray with its screen.
The shower column is included, along with moving the water supplies to the right height for the new shower and changing the waste with its trap. Those are the three items other quotes leave out and that turn up later.
You choose the wall covering: half height, or the whole cubicle up to the ceiling. It is what moves the price of this job most, so we give you both figures at the visit and you decide with both numbers in front of you.
In most bathrooms the room is back in use within one or two working days. When the waste has to be moved or the tiling in that area redone, it goes to three days, and we tell you that at the visit, not halfway through.

Complete bathroom renovation
When the bathroom needs more than a new shower, we redo everything: water supply and wastes, electrics and ventilation, wall coverings, sanitaryware, furniture and lighting.
We are the ones who coordinate the plumber, the electrician, the tiler and the joiner. You deal with one person and get a report at the end of each day.

Bathroom adapted for older people
The bath is where most falls at home happen. Replacing it with a flush-to-floor shower, with non-slip flooring and properly anchored grab rails, removes both the step and the risk.
We also look at the height of the WC, the turning space and the lighting. If there is any grant or subsidy currently available for accessibility, we tell you where to check it.

About quotes and building work
The questions that come up once you have decided to renovate and it is time to hire someone.
We measure the bathroom at the visit, check the condition of the services and note down what you want to change. With that we prepare a breakdown by item: strip-out, plumbing, waterproofing, wall covering, sanitaryware and labour. No rough prices per square metre.
Only if something turns up that could not be seen before opening up, such as a pipe in poor condition, or if you change material halfway through. In both cases we tell you and get it approved in writing before carrying on.
We do. Removal, transport and the tip fee are included in the quote. You do not have to arrange any skip.
Yes. If you have already chosen the tray, the screen or the sanitaryware, we will fit them. In that case the guarantee on the material is down to wherever you bought it, and ours covers the installation only.
The gallery has bathrooms we have handed over. If you want to see one in person, we ask the customer whether they mind showing it.

Large-format tiling
Slabs of 120 × 60 and larger, using suction cups, a vibrating tool and levelling clips.
Resin shower trays
Made to measure, in more than a hundred shapes and in any colour on the RAL chart.
Shower screens made to measure
Toughened glass cut to the millimetre, with the frame in the finish you choose.
Niches and built-in benches
Built into the wall itself and clad in the same material as the wall.
Multilayer plumbing
Multilayer pipework throughout the installation: it does not corrode and it stands up to pressure better.
Electrics and lighting
A new circuit, protective devices and light points spread around, not one lamp on the ceiling.
Suspended ceilings and plasterboard
To hide services, gain access panels and house the recessed lighting.
Shower waterproofing
The tray area and the junctions waterproofed before anything goes over them. It is the item that stops the water reaching the neighbour.
The shower tray, made to your size
Almost no bath recess is a catalogue size. That is why we do not sell catalogue trays: we order them in whatever shape, colour and grille are needed.
More than 100 shapes
Rectangular, diagonal, L-shaped, triangular. It is made to the exact shape of your recess, and it can also be cut on site.
More than 50 grille positions
Centred, to one side, linear from side to side or in the corner. The grille goes where it drains best and looks best, not where the catalogue says.
Any colour
Up to eighteen standard finishes, from white and greys to terracotta, ocean and olive. And off the chart, whichever RAL colour you want: that is about €60 more.
Three textures
Smooth, slate and stone. Slate is the one asked for most because it disguises limescale and grips better underfoot.
Grille in five finishes
Gold, rose gold, chrome, black and grey, so it matches the taps and the frame of the screen.
Mineral-filled resin
Antibacterial, class C3 non-slip and coloured all the way through: if it gets scratched, no other colour appears underneath. Waste and grille are included.
We work with Akuabath, GM and Duplach. All three make mineral-filled resin, which is the one that takes being cut on site without chipping. In the shop we have the colour charts and the textures so you can handle them before choosing.
With permits and licences, always
Any of these five jobs is done with the paperwork in order: we notify the building manager in writing, we take a photographic record of the entrance hall and the communal areas before we start and we apply to the council for whichever licence is required. It is not charged separately and it saves you the one problem in a renovation that money cannot fix. How we do it.
